Wrote linguistics exam. I really hate that woman. I think I did ok-ish, but I made a lot of it up. I mean, she had us translating Lakota (Indian), for pete's sakes! I did well on that bit tho.
Tired, enjoying my first real day of summer. :) All done 3rd year! Scary... Have decided to do M.A. first, if I get into the program, and otherwise get a job and take the PR courses from Ryerson, and apply for the M.A. later. I should get in tho, I know my refs'll be good :) Just gotta choose courses for next year... thinking of vic420y (theories of the sign, with Kalmar, whom all the semioticians seem to love, and all the anthro students seem to hate...), HIS314Y (history of modern espionage), ANT323 (pop culture), ANT329Y (language and power), PHL-something-H (Ethics of dying), and another PHL half-course, and then I'll have everything- my Semiotics specialist, and my philo and anthro minors. I just need to check that I have all my semiotics requirements. *SIGH* growing up too fast.
I don't like this layout much, it's cluttered. I'll change it soon.
Things I Want This Summer:
-3 piercings (come September.... no way in hell I'm gardening without being able to bend over for a month)
-about half the Avon catalogue (this month's, a lot's on sale)
-some clothes, INCLUDING one pair of overalls (I feel I should have a head-kerchief too, like gardeners do.)
-Diaryland Gold Membership (apparently it costs over $100k to run Diaryland, so have a heart, people!)

-Driver's licence
