xmas wasn't bad, slightly Interesting, apparently auntie irene was expecting susan to show up but i'm not going to explain unless someone asks cuz it isn't very important. Got $50 and a book on dali from the danks', and socks for the geddes, i'm kinda wondering about that but hey, i always need socks, those these are fairly awful. anyway, so yeah, at the dinner table we're all talking about how to spell kwame's name (carol's boyfriend of like 6 years). Unlce dave goes "if his name was Bob you'd have no problem remembering it" and daddy and i immediately shot each other a glance and a grin and started mouthing "jesus' brother bob." ahhh, the song of the season...
anyway, i'm somewhat headachy and tired and full, and there's a ton and a half of leftovers and DAVID GOT SHERYL A RING!!! HOW COULD HE?! SHE'S AN AIRHEAD! he said she'd told him she saw mike on campus, apparently he comes to vic all the time to pic her up, i've never seen either tho i doubt i could recognize her tho if i did see her there's no doubt i'd be making fun of her... david was like "she said she saw your boyfriend..." and both the Parents were like "EX!" and i'm turning bright red here... and dave's like "ok i'm sorry for opening up that can of worms then..." i'm like " - " Arg. i don't see why they had to rub it in. i mean, it's not like a "oooh thank god he's gone" ex, like larry was (need i remind people that i made $100 off not dating larry until end of last year...) Whatever. it's all last year and unimportant. :) Merry beginning of the start of the next day of the rest of your life.
I need to go to lee valley for james' present. >:) we've settled on the other one. but i want to get him a wrench-y knife-y thing too. something useful coated in testosterone.
