On a whim, while adding this entry from Idiot-Milk because it's hilarious, I checked up on my favourite old Queerscribe entry, the one about Keith. QS stopped writing last summer, and I really missed his writing style. But hooray! He has returned, as of July, apparently! So I have much reading to catch up on.

I baked a cake.

Have tomorrow off, and have sworn to Daddy that I'll finally make it to driving school. Nervous as hell, because I don't know what to expect, and apparently you get tested after every class. And I lost my driver's licence, too. But after that, and after hypnosis, I'm going to go get us a bottle of Alize, and have me some drunken R tomorrow night!!! YEEEE-HAW!

2:16am

I finished reading Queerscribe around 2am. Everything between July and now. And I recognized how much I missed him, his easy, smooth, flowing prose, his insight, the way he thinks about the kind of sex most people take for granted, really forces thoughts out of mundane topics. Made me glad to read him again. How shocked I was at what's happened to him since, how angry that shite like that still happens, happens here. Marvelled at how a stranger can elicit anger from me, merely through the beautiful structure of his thoughts.

I was thinking about this while doing the washing-up, 10 minutes ago, but I've lost the epiphany I'd come to. The thoughts that remain: I'm glad QS is back; I hope some day I can express myself that well; fear is a horribly pervasive thing.

Personal, physical epiphany of the day: I have no more cellulite! Hooray biking! I guess there are compensations for these nasty monster-calves and huge blue bruises from stupid work.

To bed. I surrender.

I miss my granddad.

Readin' Jingo!
Listenin' to nothing
Thinkin' about the washing up I have to do, the bed that's waiting for me
