Touch is everything...

I think there's definitely something to be said for spending 2 weeks apart. "Absence makes the heart grow fonder"; just so long as it isn't a prolonged absence... but 2 weeks of missing him is made up by 3 days of seeing him.

There's something about the way he looks at you that changes the world. Do you know what the "in love look" is? Have you ever experienced it? It's when you can look into someone's eyes and see nothing reflected but yourself; you know that all he can see is you. It's the visual equivalent of "Awwww!" And whenever you get that look, your heart melts, and your knees melt, and you want your skin to melt so you can just blend in with him, be inside his skin, just for a second, unite your thoughts as well as your feelings, meld your souls... so that you can kiss him from the inside. And sometimes you just want to be with him so badly you think you're going to die if you can't, like you can't breathe properly until you see him again... and now matter how you feel apart, who's dominant, who's extroverted, who's in control of what situation... you know that the minute you see him, you're his, mind, body and soul. In every possible way, you're his. You belong to him, and he's always going to be there for you to snuggle up against when you're not feeling well, or to tuck you in with your stuffed monkey when you want a nap. You're his. And in the strangely reciprocal way of strong relationships... he's yours, too.
