Speaking of courses (well, i wasn't, she was), mine suck. I've been trying to choose them and i can't. i can't even decide about my majors. i had been going under the assumption of Semiotics and Communication Theory Specialist, but then I thought that's not very practical and doesn't sound anywhere as cool when you explain what it actually is, so how about a psych and semiotics doublemajor? For psych at u of t, you hafta take stats, and i can't do math. =/ not only that, but there's a variety of 2nd year options we have, and it looks like i'll hafta take linguistics 100Y and psych100Y and maybe even drama100Y AND drama 201H too, and i'm buggered. hafta take anthro and literary studies too, and that's just to get thru semiotics. THIS is how you can take courses you don't love- to end up with any friggin kind of degree. Not looking forward to literary studies, it looks hard and you hafta read a shitload. I'd hafta be working a LOT, and I thnk psych100Y's gonna be hard enough as it is, Celest said her roommate took it and was studying every day... gah. i don't think i have the willpower. I better go talk to a guidance counsellor. dammit.
